http://www.ribbo.com in the PLO 2/4 games he's deadly. Check his website out for useful tips. Also he has a 1 hour self proclaiming movie, one hour of low limit PLO. If you can stand the accent and self praise its worth watching.

Chess and poker

Do chess and poker mix? Ask Howard Lederer, Dan harrington, Bob Ciaffione etc.. All were of chess master strength and all are Poker Grand Masters.
Chess saps time, for every 5 hours you study you earn nothing and get maybe 1 rating point. You are going to lose to the new prodigy in town and you peak by your mid 30s.
Poker on the other hand is less studying for more money if you have discipline. Also you can play well into your 70s Doyle's still around, TJ too and Dan's no youngster. So the secrets out for all you chess masters out there start to study poker and make the $$. The one thing chess gives you is the skill of intense concentration for 5 hours at a time.

My vote goes to Kathy Liebert. if she can keep the pounds off, go to the spa daily and look after me with that $1 Million shes got my vote. Actually shes very smart and looks like a really interesting person.

If not Cindy Viola a blond attractive pleasant classy chick in her 40s will do fine. And she's no mean player particularly at stud.

Last but not least Shirley Rosario, if you do n't know her look her up on her website. Shes an ok player, particularly at O8. Nobody wants to tell her that good O8 players generally make poor No Limit Holdem players let alone world class NLHE players.

How I became a poker pro

I guess I never wanted it. But circumstances have a habit of making you rather than you making it.
Now I'm up to my neck I have no option but to play tight, develop a leather ass and play like a tightwad suffering from constipation. yes you 've seen those guys, dirty looking, long fingernails who look like they have never seen the light of day. Like a rat in a hole I've got to dig myself out.
